While Sarah has experience in various disciplines and work sectors, she specializes in the fields of environmental science and agriculture. She has a doctoral degree from Ohio University in science education, a master’s degree in agriculture from West Virginia University, and an undergraduate degree in environmental studies from the University of Montana. As a previous Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Alderson Broaddus University, Dr. Cross taught various courses, including geology, earth science, environmental science, biology, and more. In her free time, she loves to hike, forage wild edibles, and garden.
